Mr MAUGER (MELBOURNE PORTS, VICTORIA) - I. wish to know from the Minister of Trade and Customs if his attention has been directed to a paragraph published 'in this morning's Argus, which' describes a class of infants' shoes recently imported into Victoria as made practically of blotting paper and glazed calico, with soles of porous hide and scraps of cardboard. Summed up* the goods appear to be an absolute fraud. Will the Minister take steps to prevent similar importations occurring in the future under the Frauds lent Trades Marks Bill?
