Mr O'MALLEY (DARWIN, TASMANIA) - I wish to ask the Minister representing the Minister of Defence, if his attention has been called to the evidence given by Major Kell before the Butter Commission, wherein that officer alleges that he refused to take more than two hams as a present under the system of commercial immorality now prevailing in private enterprise. Will the Minister of Defence, in. view of the action of the officer in question, recommend his promotion to the position of Colonel ?
