Mr FRAZER (KALGOORLIE, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - In view of the serious influx of Italians into Western Australia, and the strong representations which have been made by all the members of this Parliament representing that State, will the Prime Minister cause a searching investigation to be made regarding the conditions under; which those. immigrants enter?

Mr JOSEPH COOK (PARRAMATTA, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Cannot the honorable member wait, and make the inquiry himself ?

Mr. DEAKIN__I am prepared to leave the recommendation that an inquiry be made.
