Mr CROUCH (CORIO, VICTORIA) - I desire to know from the Prime Minister if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Sir George Clarke, Governor of Victoria, is delivering an address to-night on the Imperial Naval Subsidy. Has he noticed that several of the State Governors, particularly those of Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, and Queensland, have been prominently advocating the Ministerial policy in this direction, and will he cause a communication to be made to Mr. Joseph Chamberlain, the English principal of these Imperial agents, asking that the State Governors shall be instructed not to intermeddle with Federal party politics ?
