Mr THOMSON (NORTH SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) - In view of the importance of having the report ready for submission to Parliament when the next session opens, I desire to know whether the Minister for Home Affairs is prepared to say that the appointment of the committee of experts will be one of the first acts of the Government in recess.

Sir WILLIAM LYNE - Certainty. I shall bring the matter before my colleagues within a very few days.
