Mr GLYNN asked the Minister of Trade and Customs, upon notice -

1.   Whether he is aware that owing to the restrictions on work being done on Sunday in connexion with the Customs, a boat containing fruit has been detained at Ren mark on a subsiding river, and in consequence arrived 30 hours late at Morgan ?

2.   Whether, in view of navigation difficulties and other special circumstances, he will remove in respect of river ports, restrictions on necessary Sunday work ?
