Mr KINGSTON (South AustraliaMinister for Trade and Customs) - The Government are not able to accede to the request of the Senate by reducing the duty on mangles from 20 to 10 per cent, but, with a disposition to compromise, we propose that the rate be fixed at 15 per cent. I therefore move -

That the amendment requested benot made, but that the duty be reduced to 15 per cent.
