Mr McCAY (Corinella) - The Minister for Home Affairs intimated that he would be able to save a good deal of expense by closing a considerable number of country polling places. If that course be followed the difficulty under which country electors labour will be much accentuated. If there is any direction in which economy should be sparingly exercised, it is in the closing of polling places.

Clause 30-

There shall be a separate roll for each division, and each roll shall be divided according to polling places.
