Mr POYNTON (South Australia) - I wish to say a word or two in reference to the building at Terang. I do not object to the proposed expenditure of £2,000 upon this work, but I wish to point out that the particulars with which honorable members have been supplied are evidently incorrect. The statistics of business for last year show that 136,631 letters were posted there. These figures represent 189 letters per inhabitant. The people of Terang, therefore, are about the most prolific letter writers of whom I have heard.
