Electors enrolled: 81312 (at 10.11.2001)

Industries: commercial fishing, dairying, beef cattle, maize, fruit (bananas, pawpaws, macadamia nuts, protein stock feeds, tourism, sugar, bacon and butter factories, timber, pigs, engineering, steel fabrication and clothing manufacturing.

Electorate: Richmond includes the New South Wales Legislative Assembly electorate of Tweed, and parts of Ballina and Lismore.
