 4 MEDICAL INDEMNITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT (RUN-OFF COVER INDEMNITY AND OTHER MEASURES) BILL 2004

Mr Abbott (Minister for Health and Ageing), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Medical Indemnity Act 2002and the Medical Indemnity (Prudential Supervision and Product Standards) Act 2003, to repeal the Medical Indemnity (Enhanced UMP Indemnity) Contribution Act 2002, and for related purposes.

Bill read a first time.

Mr Abbott moved—That the Bill be now read a second time.
