Mr Latham proposing to move a motion that would have the effect of ordering today's business to be otherwise than resolved by Notice No. 1—

Speaker's ruling

The Speaker ruled that the House had only just resolved today's routine of business, and he could not entertain a motion to suspend standing orders to this effect.
