INDIGENOUS EDUCATION AND TRAINING—NATIONAL REPORT TO PARLIAMENT 2001—MINISTERIAL STATEMENT AND PAPERS—MOTION TO TAKE NOTE OF PAPERS

Dr Nelson (Minister for Education, Science and Training), by leave, made a ministerial statement on the national report to Parliament on indigenous education and training 2001 and presented the following papers:

Statement by the Minister for Education, Science and Training, the Honourable Dr Brendan Nelson, MP, 14 November 2002.

Ms Macklin (Deputy Leader of the Opposition) and Mr Snowdon, by leave, also made statements with reference to the matter.

Jackie Kelly (Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister) moved—That the House take note of the papers.

Debate adjourned (Ms Macklin), and the resumption of the debate made an order of the day for the next sitting.
