TRADE PRACTICES AMENDMENT (PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE) BILL 2002

Mr McMullan, pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to amend the Trade Practices Act 1974to give the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission power to deal with any price exploitation arising from changes in the law in relation to public liability, and for related purposes.

Mr McMullan made a statement in relation to the Bill.
