MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE

Messages from the Senate, 27 June 2002, were reported acquainting the House that, from 1 July 2002:

(a) Senator Moore had been appointed to the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit—No. 69.

(b) Senator Knowles had been discharged from attendance on the Joint Committee on the Broadcasting of Parliamentary Proceedings, and Senators Ferris and Stephens had been appointed members of the committee—No. 70.

(c) Senators Chapman and Hutchins had been discharged from attendance on the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade, and Senators Bartlett, Bishop, Bolkus, Eggleston and O'Brien had been appointed members of the committee—No. 71.

(d) Senator Tierney had been discharged from attendance on the Joint Standing Committee on Migration, and Senators Kirk and Tchen had been appointed members of the committee—No. 72.


(e) Senator Colbeck had been discharged from attendance on the Joint Standing Committee on the National Capital and External Territories, and Senator Scullion had been appointed a member of the committee—No. 73.

(f) Senators Ludwig and McGauran had been discharged from attendance on the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties, and Senators Barnett, Kirk, Marshall and Stephens had been appointed members of the committee—No. 74.

(g) Senator Wong had been appointed to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Securities—No. 75.

(h) Senator Mason had been discharged from attendance on the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Native Title and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land Fund, and Senator Scullion had been appointed a member of the committee—No. 76.
