SUSPENSION OF STANDING AND SESSIONAL ORDERS MOVED

Mr Beazley (Leader of the Opposition) moved—That so much of the standing and sessional orders be suspended as would prevent the Leader of the Opposition moving forthwith—That the order of the House that the second reading of the Human Rights (Mandatory Sentencing of Juvenile Offenders) Bill be made an order of the day for the next sitting be rescinded so that the second reading can be moved forthwith.
