HUMAN RIGHTS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT BILL (NO. 2) 1998

Mr Williams (Attorney-General), pursuant to notice, presented a Bill for an Act to rename the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, create the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, amend the law relating to human rights, and for related purposes.

Bill read a first time.

Mr Williams moved—That the Bill be now read a second time.
