         7  To move (contingent on the chair declaring that the time allotted for the consideration of a bill, or any stage of a bill, has expired)—That so much of standing order 142 be suspended as would prevent further consideration of the bill, or the stage of the bill, without limitation of time or for a specified period.

      12  Senator Siewert: To move ( contingent on the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Quality and Safeguards Commission and Other Measures) Bill 2017 being read a second time)—That it be an instruction to the committee of the whole to divide the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Quality and Safeguards Commission and Other Measures) Bill 2017 to:

(a)       incorporate Schedule 2 in a separate bill; and

(b)       add to that bill enacting words, provisions for titles and commencement, and a provision giving effect to amending schedules.
