National Rental Affordability Scheme Amendment Bill 2019

The Assistant Minister for Forestry and Fisheries (Senator Duniam), at the request of the Minister for Families and Social Services (Senator Ruston) and pursuant to notices of motion not objected to as formal motions, moved government business notices of motion nos 10 and 11—That the following bills be introduced:

A Bill for an Act to amend the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 , and for related purposes.

A Bill for an Act to amend the law relating to rental affordability, and for related purposes.

Question put and passed.

Senator Duniam presented the bills and moved—That these bills may proceed without formalities, be taken together and be now read a first time.
