3           Biosecurity Amendment (No Crime to Return Home) Bill 2021—Consideration—Proposed suspension of standing orders

Leave refused : Senator Patrick sought leave to move a motion to provide for consideration of the Biosecurity Amendment (No Crime to Return Home) Bill 2021 . An objection was raised and leave was not granted.

Senator Patrick, pursuant to contingent notice, moved—That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent him moving a motion relating to the conduct of the business of the Senate, namely a motion to give precedence to the Biosecurity Amendment (No Crime to Return Home) Bill 2021 .
