Supply (Parliamentary Departments) Bill (No. 1) 2020-2021

A message from the House of Representatives was reported transmitting for the concurrence of the Senate the following bills:

Message no. 190, dated 23 March 2020—

A Bill for an Act to appropriate money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the ordinary annual services of the Government, and for related purposes;

A Bill for an Act to appropriate money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for certain expenditure, and for related purposes; and

A Bill for an Act to appropriate money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for expenditure in relation to the Parliamentary Departments, and for related purposes.

The Minister for Finance (Senator Cormann) moved—That these bills may proceed without formalities, may be taken together and be now read a first time.

Question put and passed.

Bills read a first time.

On the motion of Senator Cormann the bills were debated and read a second time.

No amendments to the bills were circulated and the bills were not considered in committee.

On the motion of Senator Cormann the bills were read a third time.
