5           National Integrity (Parliamentary Standards) Bill 2019—Proposed consideration

Leave refused : The Leader of the Australian Greens in the Senate (Senator Waters) sought leave to move a motion to give precedence to the consideration of the National Integrity (Parliamentary Standards) Bill 2019. An objection was raised and leave was not granted.

Proposed suspension of standing orders : Senator Waters, pursuant to contingent notice, moved—That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent her moving a motion to provide for the consideration of a matter, namely a motion to provide that a motion relating to the consideration of the National Integrity (Parliamentary Standards) Bill 2019 may be moved immediately and determined without amendment or debate.
