17        2050 net zero emissions reduction strategy—Modelling—Order for production of documents —Compliance

Leave refused : The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate (Senator Wong) sought leave to move a motion relating  to the failure of the Government to comply with an order for the production of documents ( see entry no. 21, 20 October 2021 ) . An objection was raised and leave was not granted.

Suspension of standing orders : Suspension of standing orders : Senator Wong, pursuant to contingent notice, moved—That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent her moving a motion to provide for the consideration of a matter, namely a motion to provide that a motion relating to the failure of the government to comply with an order for the production of documents may be moved immediately and have precedence over all other business until determined, and be determined without amendment or debate.
