Messages from the House of Representatives were reported transmitting

for the concurrenceof the Senate the following bills:

Message no. 620, dated 27 September 1995--A Bill for an Act to impose

a curfew and related restrictions on aircraft movements at Sydney

Airport, and for related purposes.

Message no. 621, dated 27 September 1995--A Bill for an Act to amend

the Governor-General Act 1974, and for related purposes.

Message no. 624, dated 28 September 1995--A Bill for an Act relating

to the sale of ANL Limited, and for related purposes.

Message no. 625, dated 28 September 1995--A Bill for an Act to amend

legislation relating to human services and health, to repeal the

Handicapped Persons Assistance Act 1974, and for related purposes.

Message no. 626, dated 28 September 1995--A Bill for an Act to amend

the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, and for related purposes.

The Minister for Family Services (Senator Crowley) moved--That these

bills may proceed without formalities, may be taken together and be now

read a first time.

Question put and passed.

Senator Crowley moved--That these bills be now read a second time.

Pursuant to the order of the Senate of 29 November 1994, the debate was

adjourned and the resumption of the debate made an order of the day for

the first sitting day in 1996.

Consideration of legislation: Senator Crowley moved--That the Sydney

Airport Curfew Bill 1995, the Governor-General Amendment Bill 1995 and

the ANL Sale Bill 1995 be listed on the Notice Paper as separate orders

of the day.
