WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ROYAL COMMISSION--MINISTER'S LEGAL COSTS--ORDER FOR
PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS--PROPOSED SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS

Senator Chamarette, pursuant to contingent notice, moved--That so much

of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent Senator Chamarette

moving a motion to provide for the consideration of a matter, namely a

motion to give precedence to a motion to defer further consideration of

the Government Business order of the day relating to the First Corporate

Law Simplification Bill 1995 until the Minister representing the

Attorney-General (Senator Bolkus) purges his contempt of the Senate by

tabling all remaining documents required by the order for the production

of documents agreed to by the Senate on 28 June 1995.

Debate ensued.
