The following 6 petitions, lodged with the Clerk by the Senators

indicated, were received:

Senators Kemp and Spindler, from 800 and 1 200 petitioners,

respectively, requesting that the Senate take action to reform the

Family Law Act and the Child Support Scheme.

Senator Kernot, 2 petitions similar in wording from 388 and 57

petitioners, requesting that the Senate reject the proposed extension

of wholesale sales tax to building products.

Senator Bell, from 85 petitioners requesting that the Senate introduce

legislation requiring the National Registration Authority to provide

all available information on registered chemicals.

Senator Cooney, from 15 petitioners requesting that the Senate call on

the Minister for Human Services and Health to withdraw her endorsement

of the sex guide published in the December 1994 issue of Cleo
