A message from the House of Representatives was reported transmitting

for the concurrence of the Senate the following bill:

Message no. 526, dated 6 June 1995--A Bill for an Act to authorise the

borrowing and spending of money for certain purposes.

The Minister for Family Services (Senator Crowley) moved--That this bill

may proceed without formalities and be now read a first time.

Question put and passed.

Bill read a first time.

Senator Crowley moved--That this bill be now read a second time.

On the motion of Senator Panizza the debate was adjourned till the next

day of sitting.
