COMMITTEES--CHANGES IN MEMBERSHIP

The Acting Deputy President (Senator Chapman) informed the Senate that

the President had received letters requesting changes in the membership

of various committees.

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Primary Industries and

Energy (Senator Sherry), by leave, moved--That Senators be discharged

from and appointed to committees as follows:

Community Affairs References Committee--

Discharged: Senator Zakharov.

Employment, Education and Training Legislation Committee--

Substitute member: Senator Denman to replace Senator Zakharov for

each of the matters before the committee.

Employment, Education and Training References Committee--

Substitute member: Senator Denman to replace Senator Zakharov for

each of the matters before the committee.

Participating member: Senator Spindler for the inquiry into

education and training of people in Australian correctional and

juvenile justice facilities in the context of the National Training

Reform Agenda.
