PETITIONS

The following 5 petitions, lodged with the Clerk by the Senators

indicated, were received:

Senator Bell, from 83 petitioners requesting that the Senate take

action to apply conditions retrospectively to woodchip licences to

meet Commonwealth obligations and exclude old-growth forests and

wilderness areas.

Senator Kernot, from 195 petitioners requesting that the Senate oppose

attempts by the Government to raise the pension age for women from 60

to 65 years.

Senator Kernot, from 83 petitioners requesting that the Senate take

action to halt the construction of the marina and access channel at

Oyster Point.

Senator Troeth, from 424 petitioners requesting that the Senate take

action to reform the Family Law Act and the Child Support Scheme.

Senator Woods, from 59 petitioners requesting that the Senate take

action to amend the Australian National Anthem.
