TAXATION LAWS AMENDMENT BILL (NO. 3) 1994

The following message from the House of Representatives was reported:

Message no. 379

MR PRESIDENT

The House of Representatives returns to the Senate the Bill intituled

"A Bill for an Act to amend the law relating to taxation", and

acquaints the Senate that the House of Representatives has agreed to

amendments Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16,

17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 34; has

disagreed to amendments nos. 31, 32 and 33 as indicated by the annexed

schedule and for the reasons shown therein; and has disagreed to

amendment no. 4, but, in place thereof, has made the amendment as

indicated by the said schedule.

The House of Representatives desires the reconsideration of the Bill

by the Senate in respect of the amendments disagreed to, and the

concurrence of the Senate in the amendment made by the House of

Representatives.

Faulkner) moved--That consideration of the message in committee of the

whole be an order of the day for a later hour.
