RIGHTS TO PRIVACY AND EQUALITY (ICCPR) BILL 1994

Senator Chamarette, pursuant to notice of motion not objected to as a

formal motion, moved--That the following bill be introduced:

A Bill for an Act to implement Australia's international

obligationsunder Articles 17 and 26 of the International Covenant on

Civil and Political Rights.

Senator Chamarette presented the bill and moved--That this bill may

proceed without formalities and be now read a first time.

Senator Chamarette moved--That this bill be now read a second time.
