Minister for the Environment, Sport and Territories (Senator

Faulkner)--That these bills be now read a second time.

Senator Panizza moved the following amendment in respect of the

Appropriation Bill (No. 2) 1994-95:

At end of motion, add "but the Senate opposes the Government's

decision to establish and allocate funds to the Aboriginal Land Fund

and calls on the Government to direct more adequate funding towards

aboriginal health, housing and education, and other social needs".
