VACANCIES IN THE REPRESENTATION OF NEW SOUTH WALES--CHOICE OF BELINDA
JANE NEAL AND ROBERT LESLIE WOODS

The President informed the Senate that he had received, through the

Office of His Excellency the Governor-General, from the Office of the

Governor of the State of New South Wales, copies of the certificates of

the choice by the Houses of Parliament of New South Wales of Belinda

Jane Neal and Robert Leslie Woods to fill the vacancies caused by the

resignations of Senator the Honourable Kerry Walter Sibraa and Senator

Bronwyn Kathleen Bishop.

The President tabled copies of the certificates as follows:

of the two Houses of the Legislature of New South Wales held this day

in accordance with the provisions of section 15 of the Commonwealth of

Australia Constitution Act, Belinda Jane Neal was duly chosen as the

person to hold the place in the Senate rendered vacant by the

Honourable Kerry Walter Sibraa.
