CORPORATE LAW REFORM BILL 1993

A message from the House of Representatives was reported transmitting

for the concurrence of the Senate the following bill:

Message no. 198, dated 1 February 1994--A Bill for an Act to amend the

Corporations Law and the Australian Securities Commission Act 1989.

The Minister for Veterans' Affairs (Senator Faulkner) moved--That this

bill may proceed without formalities and be now read a first time.

Question put and passed.

Bill read a first time.

Senator Faulkner moved--That this bill be now read a second time.

On the motion of Senator Panizza the debate was adjourned till the next

day of sitting.
