VACANCY IN THE REPRESENTATION OF NEW SOUTH WALES

The Acting Deputy President (Senator Teague) announced the resignation

on 1 February 1994, of Senator Sibraa, and advised the Senate that,

pursuant to section 21 of the Constitution, the President had notified

the Governor of the State of New South Wales that there was a vacancy in

the representation of that State.
