The President resumed the Chair and the Temporary Chairman of Committees

(Senator Zakharov) reported that the committee had considered message

no. 185 from the House of Representatives in relation to the Veterans'

Affairs Legislation Amendment Bill (No. 2) 1993 and had resolved to

insist upon the Senate's amendment to which the House of Representatives

had disagreed.

On the motion of the Minister for Defence (Senator Ray) the report from

the committee was adopted.
