MR PRESIDENT, Message No. 245 The House of Representatives transmits to the Senate a Bill intituled ''A Bill for an Act relating to the purchase of additional shares of the capital stock of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and of the International Finance Corporation'', in which it desires the concurrence of the Senate.

Question-put and passed.

On the motion of Senator Baume the Bill was read a first time.

On the motion of Senator Robertson the debate was adjourned.
