The President resumed the Chair; and the Chairman of Committees (Senator McClelland) reported that the Committee had considered Message No. 194 of the House of Representatives in reference to the Senate's requests on the Sales Tax Amendment Bills (Nos 1A to 9A) 1981, and had resolved to press the requests.

On the motion of the Minister for Finance (Senator Dame Margaret Guilfoyle) the Report from the Committee was adopted.
