FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND DEFENCE--STANDING COMMITTEE--CHANGE IN MEMBERSHIP

The President informed the Senate that he had received a letter from the Leader of the Government in the Senate (Senator Carrick) requesting that Senator Collard be discharged from further attendance on the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, and nominating Senator Scott to be a member of the Committee.

Senator Carrick, by leave, moved--That Senator Collard be discharged from further attendance on the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, and that Senator Scott, having been duly nominated in accordance with Standing Order 36AA, be appointed a member of the Committee.
