FISHING ZONE--AGREEMENT RELATING TO ACCESS BY TAIWANESE FISHING VESSELS--PAPER

The Attorney-General (Senator Durack), by Command of His Excellency the Governor-General, laid upon the Table the following Paper:

Fishing Zone--Agreement between the Government of Australia, the Kaohsiung Fishing Boat Commercial Guild and its representative, the Kailis Kaohsiung Fishing Co. Pty Ltd, relating to access to the Australian fishing zone by fishing vessels of Taiwan, signed at Canberra, Taipei and Fremantle on 30 October 1980, 14 November 1980 and 1 November 1980, respectively.

Senator Robertson, by leave, moved--That the Senate take note of the Paper.

Ordered--That the debate be adjourned till the next day of sitting, and that Senator Robertson have leave to continue his speech on the resumption of the debate.
