Senator CAMPBELL (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Environment and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Sport, Territories and Local Government)(4.46 p.m.) —In relation to the letter that Senator Sherry referred to, it makes it clear—as someone who probably knows more about superannuation than most people on this globe, and I am referring to Senator Sherry, would know—that there is merit in the proposal from Senator Kernot to the Hon. Peter Reith to have superannuation matters dealt with comprehensively under that legislation. I am sure that the chamber would not agree to such legislation without there being significant discrimination provisions within that legislation as well. I presume that is the case, but Senator Sherry knows more about superannuation than most people and certainly a lot more about it than I do.
