Senator MACKAY(4.31 p.m.) —I am not sure that that is a particularly adequate answer, with respect. Perhaps my question should be directed through the parliamentary secretary to Senator Murray, with regard to the position put by the Democrats in the minority report. They have clearly indicated that their preference was two offices, effectively. The first one was an employee ombudsman and the second was an employee advocate, with those two roles clearly delineated. Through the parliamentary secretary to Senator Murray: if that was a priority, Senator Murray, with regard to the Democrats' position in the minority report, why is the clear delineation of those two functions not a priority now?
