Senator CAMPBELL (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Environment and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Sport, Territories and Local Government)(3.26 p.m.) —I present a proposal by the National Gallery of Australia and received through the National Capital Authority to construct an extension to the existing gallery in Parkes, ACT for the purpose of conducting temporary exhibitions, together with related correspondence. I seek leave to give notice of a motion relating to the proposal.

Senator CAMPBELL —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That, in accordance with section 5 of the Parliament Act 1974, the Senate approves the proposal by the National Gallery of Australia to construct an extension to the existing Gallery in Parkes, Australian Capital Territory, for the purpose of conducting temporary exhibitions.
