Senator BOB COLLINS(11.23 a.m.) —Just in respect of that helpful interjection in the debate by Senator Crane, which I do not question for a minute, correct me if I wrong, Senator Tambling, but it is my recollection that the Premier of Victoria was opposed to common ownership of Melbourne and Brisbane. If that is so and if I am right about that, in terms of the Victorian position being that they wanted restrictions placed in respect of the Melbourne-Brisbane axis—and apparently did not get them—what distinguishes that situation from the one you have just provided for suddenly this morning?
