Senator MARGETTS(10.12 a.m.) —by leave—I am happy to move for the suspension of standing orders. I might need some guidance in the wording that I would use.

The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT — Senator Margetts, I have been advised that you only need to do that if somebody is objecting to it being taken as formal, so I would need to put that the motion be formal and, if there is objection, then you have the alternate route to take. Is there any objection to the motion put by Senator Margetts being taken as formal?

Senator Bob Collins —Yes.

The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT — There being objection, the motion is not formal.
