Senator BOB COLLINS(4.52 p.m.) —To save the time of the Senate, could I just indicate that I will deal with all of the amendments on this schedule when I speak. We will be supporting the first amendment by the Greens (WA). I think it was clear from the second reading debate that that would be the case.

For Senator Chamarette's benefit, I indicate that we will not be supporting the other amendments on the schedule, although we have of course, as you are aware, circulated our own amendments. I will wait until the appropriate time during the committee stage to explain my reasons for that. We will be supporting the opposition to this section and we will not be supporting amendments 2 to 6.
