Senator CHAMARETTE(12.04 p.m.) —I have some concerns regarding the allocations in these supply bills from the Attorney-General's Department. I will not comment on the exchange that has occurred prior to this, except to point out that this is the one opportunity the community has until the budget to see how this government is operating and to find out what the implications will be of the allocation of funding that was set up by the previous government. Some programs will run out. We need to know what will happen to them. Does the budget allocation for the National Human Rights and Discrimination Law Centre still exist? What is the allocation in these supply bills for its program, and have any funds been expended on it? If so, how much?
