Senator Vanstone asked the Minister for Family Services, upon notice, on 6 December 1993:

  (1) Please provide statistics which show the number of places, by type, planned to be provided in each State from the 1987 Child Care Strategy, and the subsequent Child Care Strategies of 1990 and 1993.

  (2) Please provide statistics which show the number of places, by type, which have been introduced in each State from each different Child Care Strategy.
