Senator CHAMARETTE (12.10 a.m.) —I would like to express the Greens' concern again that the amendments that we put up have not gained the support of the government. We believe that at every point where native title interests and anybody else's interests are being put in the balance, native title interests are being held back. However, we have to face the reality of the numbers here and we are not going to be able to get that support. We thought that Senator Evans had done such a magnificent job controlling his temper today that we would concede and support amendment 21.
