Senator MINCHIN (11.22 p.m.) —Subclause 45(2), which has been amended by amendment 20, talks about the acts which will lead to this disregarding of extinguishment. The government has added, as one of the acts, `the doing of any act under the lease or by virtue of holding the interest'. Could the minister tell us what that addition achieves, what its purpose is and what it means? Is the doing of any act to be taken literally? How is that defined? How does anybody know what those acts are?
